The recent floods in Nepal have been devastating. Roads, bridges, hospitals, schools, and homes have been destroyed, with dozens of villages severely affected. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, have lost their lives, and countless others remain missing.

At LSF, our commitment is to stand with girls and their families for the long haul. We believe sustained support is one of the most meaningful ways we can help communities recover and build a more secure future.

Team LSF will continue to monitor the situation and assess how we can best apply our resources to support the families and communities most affected. LSF will work closely with our network of partner schools and coordinating mentors to identify and prioritize at-risk girls who have lost parents, as well as families who have lost their homes and livelihoods.

That is why we are asking you to join us in supporting vulnerable girls and their families, who have been made even more vulnerable by this tragedy. Together, we can provide the stability, safety, routine, and hope they need during this time of tremendous disruption and uncertainty.
