Little Sisters Fund believes all girls have a right to health education, freedom from discrimination, and a safe and healthy environment. That is why our menstrual hygiene management program teaches all Little Sisters about their bodies and the natural processes of puberty and menstruation. Our menstrual hygiene kits contain everything a girl needs to manage her period in a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly way. By distributing reusable menstrual hygiene kits including washable pads and shields, we are providing the knowledge and sustainable products necessary for Little Sisters to feel confident about their periods and to break the menstruation taboo that still exists in many Nepali communities.
