Coordinating Mentors carry a collection of books with them when they visit schools in rural villages so all Little Sisters can access a constantly changing library of books at a variety of reading levels for educational enjoyment and enrichment.
One of the best ways to promote education is to promote a love of reading. That is why LSF is committed to getting books into the hands of Little Sisters through our mobile libraries program. When Little Sisters take a book from LSF's mobile library they are encouraged to write a book review, share their thoughts on the book and describe what they learned from the book. Instilling a love of reading at a young age helps Little Sisters become lifelong learners.
