Our three-day Teacher Workshops enhance the overall quality of education in Nepal by training teachers to move beyond rote memorization and teacher-centered instruction. Through these workshops, teachers are encouraged to incorporate critical thinking and child-focused teaching methods in their classrooms.
Teacher quality, retention and professional development continue to be significant obstacles to raising the overall level and quality of education in Nepal. Since 2013, LSF has focused on improving the quality of education in Nepal’s classrooms by conducting teacher training workshops. These workshops cover diverse topics related to child psychology, socio-emotional development, student-centered teaching methods and subject-specific techniques.
