This summer, while volunteering with Little Sisters Fund, I learned that connections don’t always begin with language, it can start with a simple smile.

Neither of Nisha's parents were able to complete their education because of their families' poor financial situation. Despite this, or maybe because of this, they were both very committed to educating their daughters.

Despite their financial struggles, Shweta's parents were determined to educate their two daughters. They passed that determination on to Shweta, who was soon top in her class.
